Festival Paris Cinema

A showcase of works from international filmakers, as well as a chance for the public to view the films for a special rate of 5 euros per screening.

For the film enthusiasts who hold no money in their pockets, Retour de Flamme is an early Christmas gift-a must-see of special silent film screenings held in Centquatre.

On its closing day, Centquatre opens its doors to the public for a free cine-concert of Kenji Mizoguchi’s Oyuki the Virgin. A party is also held to cap off the festival.

Le Festival FNAC Indetendances

Just when I needed music to drive away the bad spirits enveloping my soul, FNAC was there to help cure my beaten-up self-esteem. Fortunately, as I am as thin as a stick, everytime I watched a gig, I always managed to squeeze myself in at the front row.

The ultimate music to my ears came from Naive New Beaters and CirKus avec Neneh Cherry. Others who performed were La Casa, Joseph d'Anvers, The Bewitched Hands on the Top of our Head, Peter von Poehl, Charlie Winston, Flow, Fujiya & Miyagi, Krystle Warren, Chinese Man, Soldout, etc.
